Sincerely Fro Me to You ~ Milo Age 10 Weeks

My IVF transfer was on 9/11/06. About a week later (this time that same year), Happy Mommy tells me of a French Bulldog puppy for sale in her neck of the woods. Twice Blessed Daddy and I had talked much about getting a Frenchie puppy for about 2 years but were on the fence about it. I asked TBD what did he think? He wasn't exactly for or against it but since we were still waiting to see if I was pregnant or not...we decided to wait. Well...I waited about 2 hours and then made the call and found out that the puppy had just been sold. Not to be I thought. So after a few hours of being bummed, I decided to look on Pet Finder for Frenchie Puppies and this is what I found:

I almost flipped!!! He was the cutest Frenchie puppy I'd ever seen! His name was Langdon. I called the breeder and yes he was still available. I told TBD to look at his sweet little face and that was it. We put down a deposit and bought ourselves a Frenchie. We arranged to pick him up on Friday 9/21 in Pennsylvania.

On Thursday 9/20, we got the call that my test was positive! And my hcg levels were triple what they should've been so we had a feeling right from the start that we were having twins.

On Friday morning, we drove to PA to get Langdon and we promptly changed his name to MILO. This is his picture on the day we brought him home....by the way, the breeder informed us that this litter was done through IVF so we knew right then, it was meant to be...I was having an IVF baby...he was an IVF baby...funny huh?:

Here are a few more pictures after he was in our home and settling in;

So here's to Milo who's our crazy clown dog and such a special part of our family. We're so happy you've been a part of our lives for the past two years!

Just Wanted to Share

My niece Jessica took these pictures of Tate and Reese a few days ago and I wanted to share them with everyone. I don't know if you can tell how wavy Tate's hair is but it can get pretty wild some times. He's looking at Jessica's toes in his photo...he already has a foot fetish! I just had to show this picture of Milo sleeping next to Reese...they both look so cute! TBD is standing right next to Reese so no worries that she was left unattended for this photo op. Tate often falls asleep in his jumper and yes....my boy loves to suck his thumb!

Busy Weekend!

We kept very busy this weekend! Our Friday was spent at Babies R Us picking out umbrella
strollers, mats for our newly converted playroom (bye bye morning room) and new activity centers.

Saturday we took our french bulldog Milo to a dog park for his monthly frenchie meet up. The weather was so nice and he had a great time playing with all the other frenchies. He could really care less if there were other dogs there..he loves people and everytime I saw him, he was being petted by someone new. Once I got out the Cheerios to give to the babies, he came running because that's his new favorite snack food. As a matter of fact, I fed several of the frenchies Cheerios that day.

Once we got back home and fed the kids, we totally redid their new play area. We removed all of our things and now it's all baby stuff. The kids really love it too! They've been having such a good time playing with all their toys in there (forgot to mention it's now gated off from the kitchen).

On Sunday, we went to church and it was the 2nd time I took the babies to the nursery..of course I stayed in there with them again. Not sure when I'll feel comfortable to leave them. I know they'll be taken care of...just not ready yet!

Our friends the G's met their girls on Saturday! They then picked them up on Sunday and are bringing them home today! I'm sure they were very shocked at the sight of their new home ~ it's very large I must say. They were the topic of discussion all weekend. We admire them so much for opening their hearts and home to these little girls. We just know they'll be the perfect parents for them. Amen!
