This is my high school graduation photo taken the summer of 1982. I don't know why they took our graduation photo's the summer before we started our senior year but that's how they did it.
So, who all loves my very feathered hair?? I was supposed to wear a pair of pearl earrings and necklace but for some reason (don't remember why), I didn't. I know I was very upset about it. You can hardly even see my gold necklace. It's so thin and you can't even see my gold ball earrings..so sad. Cracks me up now. Anyway, here I am at age 17...cute huh??
The huge photo that my parents ordered (on oil canvas of course) is of me sitting in the ever so famous 80's era rattan chair. Classic....
For more flashback fun, head on over to "we are THAT family" and enjoy!

I love this photo! And your feathers. You haven't aged a day! My graduation picture was taken the summer before too and I had long (puffy) hair. By the time I graduated, I had all my hair cut off. I looked like two different people!
You know, took our senior pics in the summer before school as well. Too funny really. Have a great day!
You rocked that feathered hair!
My graduation HUGE picture still sits over my Mom's sofa. I learned to look the other way when I walk in. I'll show it on my blog. I sure need to get on the fro me to you don't I?
All I got to say is WINGS BABY!!! WINGS!!! Farrah would have died for hair that light an airy. :)
You always were the cool cousin.
Our pictures were taken in July... and I chose a pink cashmere sweater. I was SO hot. (Temperature wise, I mean.) hehe.
My cheeks looked like a chipmunk in mine. I was 102 pounds at the time, but I looked chubby.
Wow you have perfectly feathered hair!
so, could you pick that feather up with your fingers and pull it out from your head from all the aqua net? mine could! it was not fun when the wind blew. it is a very pretty picture though!
You look great. HA! My picture was done the same way. My ones at school, I was super thin and cute. The ones my mom got done, FAT and gross. She decided to make it into an oil canvas. I would have been okay with it if it weren't a close up of my fat face. The rest of the fam had normal distances away from their faces. And the pictures are bigger than life size. Thank God they are hidden under the bed right now.
K that was a normal. oops!
That is some VERY feathered hair...it looks great! Hoe did you get it to stay that way?
That IS a total classic. My step sister had hair exactly like this and I would sit mesmerized watching her fix her hair!!
Great photo!!!
Did you have an "Add-A-Bead" necklace to go with the gold ball earrings? It was the perfect accessory in the '80's!
